This new print started out as a hand carved and hand printed border inspired by tiles from the Jackfield Tile Museum in Ironbridge. The Mackerel were hand painted and collaged into this mixed media design. Printing inks were rolled out to create the striped table cloth.

The result is a playful still life that celebrates pattern and form within the natural world and the decorative interpretations of that world.
