Limited Edition A3 Risograph Print in Coral and Kelly Green. Edition of 150.

This scene was originally created as a hand carved as a two block lino and has been re worked as a riso print.

While in Florence, we stayed in a tiny rooftop house that opened out to this view of Florence Cathedral - ‘Santa Maria del Fiore’ It was breathtaking seeing the sun bouncing off the marble in the mornings with the bells ringing and at dusk with the starlings flying over. I sat and sketched details of the Cathedral from this rooftop and planned how I would celebrate it in print form.

It print features a detailed section of the Cathedral with a collection of tiles across the bottom and up the left hand side that depict the vastness of this building amongst the skyline of Florence while others celebrate close up sections of the tiles and carvings.

What makes Risograph Prints special?

Firstly, the MEGA bright soy based inks. Each colour is printed using a separate drum and must be done in layers. Riso is one of the most environmentally friendly printing processes and the nature of the technique creates a unique and imperfect charm.

About the Paper

Tree Free

​Warm creamy white semi-smooth paper with minimal surface flecks, made from annually renewable bamboo, cotton and bagasse (sugar cane pulp). This makes the paper very eco-friendly as it has zero forestry impact. 250 gsm.

How is it packaged?

Prints A3 size and smaller are shipped flat inside sturdy cardboard envelopes. Backed with greyboard inside a clear wallet. If ordered with larger prints they will be rolled.
